In The Late News Dept. Apple has the new iMac out for sale. Usual Apple fare. very Nice look, Understated power, great OS. The Cost is pretty much approaching affordable now. If you ignore the fact that what they consider low end many PC users consider mid to high range. Macs in practicality are too expensive for me to recommend them but for a Business I think they have the ease of use and Security down pat

More late news :)

Apple has posted a huge increase in profits mostly due to the iPod selling at an incredible rate.
After many weeks saying that a video player is silly for the market apple of course releases the Video iPod which looks nice but will probably kill batteries dead.

I like the new G5 iMac (daddi) Image

It comes with a media center for movies/music and images that is pretty slick but I'm not a big fan of media centers anyway. Should be fun to see what Apple is going to start doing when you can dual boot Windows and OSX on the same machine

OK Seriously the most I've ever considered buying a mac

Image

Pretty eh? 27 inch screen with a quad core proc 4 GB of RAM and a 1 TB drive. MMM If it wasn't for the fact that I can't throw a BluRay drive in there I'd probably be moving on this.

You can checkout http://www.apple.com/mac for whatever the latest Apple offerings are for computing hardware. Overall the price is not too bad.
